About Food and Fellowship

Food and Fellowship was built from a simple belief: people need more than a meal. They need to be seen, welcomed, encouraged, and reminded that they matter. What started as a burden for the hurting in Zephyrhills has grown into a steady community outreach centered on compassion, consistency, and real connection.

Our story

We serve because we know that hard seasons are real. Some people come hungry. Some come lonely. Some come carrying grief, addiction, hardship, or the weight of life. Food and Fellowship exists to create a place where nobody has to feel invisible. Around the table, people find conversation, kindness, prayer, and hope along with a good meal.

This outreach is rooted in the heart of serving the community with dignity. We believe Zephyrhills matters. We believe showing up every week matters. And we believe small acts of faithfulness can open the door for real transformation in people’s lives.

Join us on Sundays

Every Sunday at Shepard's Park we gather for fellowship, prayer, a shared meal, live music, and a short devotional message of hope.

Weekly Community Meal: Join us every Sunday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Shepard's Park in Zephyrhills. Come for a meal, fellowship, conversation, encouragement, live music, and a short devotional. Everyone is welcome.

Sunday schedule

Here is a simple look at how Food and Fellowship typically flows each week.

Setup

Volunteers arrive early to set up tables, serving areas, drinks, supplies, and seating so the park is ready to welcome people.

Fellowship

As people arrive, we spend time greeting one another, talking, and building relationships. Community comes first.

Prayer circle

Everyone is invited to line up to pray over the food, share prayer requests, and talk about what they are thankful for.

Prayer over the food

After requests and thanksgiving are shared, we pray together and thank God for the meal and for the people gathered.

Serve food

Volunteers begin serving food to the community with care, dignity, and hospitality.

Live music

Live music helps create a warm and welcoming atmosphere while people eat, talk, and enjoy time together.

Short devotional

A brief devotional message of hope and encouragement is shared during the gathering.

To-go plates at 4:00 PM

At 4:00 PM, to-go plates are served for those who need them, and food is available until it is gone.

Tear down

At the end of the outreach, volunteers work together to clean up, pack up, and leave the park in good shape.
